Fairhope is loaded with blueberries, whether backyard trees…. Farmer’s markets… or community gardens. Weeks Bay Plantation just south of Fairhope celebrates blues with a certified organic 15-variety blueberry farm that’s equal parts music hall, B n B, and Farm to Table event site.

Landscaper, sailor, champion water-skiier (he’s even added a waterski lake to the plantation – with classes for beginners) and all-around character (in the best sense) Tynes Stringfellow had the vision for an organic entertainment venue that celebrates the land, the arts, family and friends.

Bring the kids (hat and sunscreen) for a morning picking berries (buckets handy if you need them) or pick up a pound or two in the market along with heirloom tomatoes, strawberries, herbs and more when in season.
