In Fairhope, on the first Friday of every month, vendors and restaurants stay open later to advocate a relaxing night on the town. From 6:00-8:00, the streets downtown are blocked off to cars so people may walk freely. On this night, all are encouraged to take a break from the busyness of life and appreciate this beautiful city. The art of Fairhope is highlighted every First Friday, and you can always find several performers playing live in the streets. First Friday is so admired by our community because of the way it exemplifies the closeness of the wonderful people in this town.
